The AQUABAG-CU pool water filter will remove oxidized copper from your pool water, permanently, without the use of chemicals! Its simply the safest and easiest way to clear your pool water of copper due to hard well water, algaecides, and other sources of copper. Copper presents as a green "tint". If you are not sure, have your water tested or test your water with a kit that looks for metals.
Easy to use! Simply connect the bag to the water return port using one of our adapters or the return hose from your filter system. Our VariNeck™ design allows connections to either 1.5" or 2" fitting or hose connections without a size adapter. For 2" fittings, simply use scissors to remove the 1.5 inch section of the bag neck.
An Aquabag will work with in ground pools and above ground pools including soft sided pools!
The most common connection for hard wall and soft sided pools where one of our adapters isn't compatible is to simply disconnect your return hose, insert it into the Aquabag-CU, tighten the supplied tie and put the bag in the pool. Then simply sit back while your pool clears.
Please Note: The Aquabag CU will not remove existing stains on pool surfaces.

It will not stay connected to our pool connection even with the recommended fitting. It just flies off and the hose falls out and water goes everywhere.
We have tried to reach out a few times. Please contact support. A hose should not come into play when using the adapter.

I had low alka plus. I had to add approx 15kg When I did my pool water went green. Apparently a reaction with the high copper content. Shocking wouldn’t touch it. Bought 2 of the CU bags for my 32x16 in ground pool jets and within 24hrs most of it was captured in the bags. I pressure washed the bags out and reinserted them and another 48hrs later my pool has never been so clear. Pressure washed the bags again. Layed them out to dry and put them away for my next time I need to clear up the water.
I only wish I stumbled upon these sooner.

I ordered the copper removal bag and the eyeball replacement part. It worked and my last water check showed my metals at 0.
In addition, it does a great job of filtering out dust and sand that gets through the cartridge filters. We have had lot of construction and extra rain so I am leaving it in the pool for awhile longer.
My only complaint is the zip tie doesn't hold - ;)

Well water loaded with iron turned the pool brown. Took a week of filtering bag changes twice a day, but it worked!! The pool is beautiful, sparkling blue again
