Our adapters will allow you connect an Aquabag to the return/inlet port of most pools. If our adapters are not compatible, a common connection for soft sided and hard sided above ground pools is to simply disconnect your return hose, insert it into the Aquabag and tighten the clamp. Then simply sit back while the iron is removed and your pool clears.
The 12" x 34" "Large" Aquabag-FE is for larger pools and those with higher levels of iron.
Just like its smaller sibling (the FE-Small), it can be rinsed and reused.
* Note:
Precipitated iron in your pool is iron that has been oxidized, otherwise know as iron oxide or "rust". Our Aquabag filters will not remove iron that is still in solution (Clear Water). If a sequestrant has been added to the pool, iron collection may be less effective. Connecting a few days a week will capture iron as it returns to an oxidized state. Shocking will accelerate this process. The Aquabag should be installed a few hours after adding shock to allow the shock to mix.
